Job summary

Global Payments seeks an Senior Enterprise Architect to define architecture strategy for enterprise payment platforms in Corpus Christi, TX. You will lead cloud-native architecture initiatives, APIs, and microservices while aligning with security, reliability, and cost objectives.

You will mentor teams, influence stakeholders, and drive modernization across business and technology functions, with a focus on high availability and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise application architectures with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and business alignment.
• Deep expertise in microservices architecture, APIs, application security, and modern software development practices.
• Demonstrated success leading technical teams and influencing stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Strong understanding of highly available distributed systems, databases, concurrency, and cloud-based architecture principles.
• Ability to evaluate complex challenges and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Experience designing and deploying solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in large-scale production environments.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or C#.
