Job summary

Parallel Systems in Los Angeles seeks a Senior PLM & Manufacturing Systems Engineer to own the systems that define, release, and build our vehicles. The immediate priority is SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional administration, release and change-control, and the engineering data handoff into Odoo.

Qualifications

• SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional administration experience in hardware/manufacturing environments.
• Experience designing engineering release and change control processes.
• Hands-on governance of CAD/product data standards and data movement into ERP.

Responsibilities

• Own administration of SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional environment, including workflow, data cards, permissions, and Dispatch.
• Design and implement engineering release and change control, including ECR/ECO workflows and revision control.
• Maintain integration between PDM and Odoo for seamless manufacturing data flow.
• Automate routine administration and data movement via scripting and APIs; support engineers and production staff.
