Job summary

GNB Global Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to support high-visibility MCM projects. You will develop custom engineered steel structures from concept through manufacturing, providing design expertise and value engineering input.

The role requires independent work, multi-project management, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver manufacturable solutions. Familiarity with AWS D1.1 and structural steel standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Expert SolidWorks skills and fabrication drawing experience.
• Proficiency with Autodesk software and Microsoft Office helpful.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail customized steel structures from concept through production.
• Create fabrication drawings with weld details and BOMs.
• Apply DFM and value engineering to optimize manufacturability.
• Collaborate with engineering, project managers, and production teams.
