Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Senior Solid State NMR Scientist to provide laboratory support in solid-state NMR data collection and interpretation for pharmaceutical materials. You will apply ssNMR to characterize a broad range of APIs, excipients, and drug products, and plan experiments with minimal supervision.

The role requires Ph.D. in chemistry with ssNMR expertise or a BA/MS with 2-3+ years ssNMR experience, plus strong data analysis and independent work capabilities in a collaborative Materials

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with ssNMR expertise or BA/MS with 2-3+ years ssNMR experience.
• Experience in ssNMR sample preparation, data acquisition and interpretation of 1D/2D spectra.
• Knowledge of solid-state characterization techniques like XRD, microscopy, DSC, TGA and spectroscopy is a plus.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills; good communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Apply ssNMR to characterize pharmaceutical materials (crystalline and amorphous APIs, excipients and drug products).
• Quantify API and drug product components using ssNMR methods.
• Plan and perform experiments with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with Materials Science to define characterization strategies.
• Maintain accurate electronic lab notebook entries per best practices.
