Job summary

Amgen SA in Thousand Oaks, CA, is seeking a Sr Manufacturing Process Technician to execute solid oral dosage manufacturing in a GMP setting. You will manage equipment setup, operation, and cleaning, while ensuring compliance with batch records and SOPs.

You will perform material handling, troubleshooting, and documentation, driving safety, quality, and efficiency across manufacturing steps. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school/GED with 2 years in manufacturing or related hands-on work; OR
• Associate’s + 6 months in manufacturing or related hands-on work; OR
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing operations per batch records and SOPs.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and clean equipment for solid oral dosage meds.
• Handle material prep, dispensing, and equipment turnarounds.
• Troubleshoot process/equipment issues and communicate needs.
• Maintain clean and inspection-ready manufacturing areas.
• Complete GMP documentation accurately and timely.
• Identify improvements for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Follow GMP, safety and quality requirements.
