Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least five years of hands-on electrical or electronics assembly experience, with emphasis on soldering.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision through-hole soldering on PCBs, including component prep, placement, soldering, and cleaning.
• Inspect workmanship for correct solder joints, placement, and assembly quality; address defects per procedures.
• Assemble LED light heads, cable assemblies, connectors, and power supplies using electrical and mechanical assembly techniques.
• Prepare, dress, route, terminate, and repair cables and connectors per drawings and work instructions.
• Stage components, set up workstation, and build lighting hardware from parts to finished assemblies.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, specs, and test instructions.
• Use small manual, powered, and pneumatic tools, and calibrated torque wrenches and meters.
• Perform electrical and functional checks, document results, and communicate issues.
• Handle fragile components with care and maintain organized workstation.
