Job summary

Solar Maintenance Pros DBA Solar Negotiators is seeking a Solar Photovoltaic Senior Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot PV systems on various sites. You will read plans, select appropriate components, and connect panels to the grid while ensuring weather sealing and adherence to codes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency with PV/battery equipment, and the ability to work at heights in sunny conditions. NABCEP not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PV and battery equipment knowledge and installation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and read electrical drawings.
• Proficient with hand/power tools and electrical testing meters.

Responsibilities

• Installs solar panels on roofs and structures.
• Troubleshoots AC/DC electrical systems and identifies faults.
• Configures PV and battery systems based on site conditions.
• Operates safely per building codes and manufacturer guidelines.
• Performs routine PV system maintenance and inspections.
• Communicates professionally with clients and manages expectations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
