Job summary

eZone staffing LLC seeks a Commercial Senior Solar Project Manager to lead permitting, utility interconnection, and client coordination from design through grid interconnection in Corona, CA. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, regulatory navigation, and proactive communication with enterprise clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities include managing AHJ permitting, coordinating with city planners and utilities, and guiding engineers and field crews to maintain project velocity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management/Engineering/Communications or related field.
• 3+ years managing commercial solar deployment with emphasis on permitting, coordinating drawings, and client management.

Responsibilities

• Lead AHJ permitting by submitting structural and electrical plan sets to local jurisdictions.
• Resolve zoning, planning and environmental issues through coordination with city planners and officials.
• Manage utility interconnection tracks to secure NEM approvals and Interconnection Agreements.
• Coordinate final inspection workflows to achieve Permission to Operate (PTO).
• Serve as the primary liaison for corporate clients, facility managers, and enterprise stakeholders.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for clients.
• Host client progress meetings to provide milestone updates and manage expectations.
• Coordinate facility access logistics to minimize disruptions during installation.
• Billing on occasion: prepare and send AIA billing to Customer or General contractor.
• Host weekly meetings to troubleshoot setbacks and provide progress updates.
• Bridge communication gaps between sales, engineering, procurement, and field crews.
• Drive internal design reviews to ensure plans meet client constraints and code requirements.
• Hand off finalized design packages to field superintendents for execution.
• Facilitate alignment sessions with leadership to flag bottlenecks, timeline shifts, or risks.
