Senior Software Verification Engineer at Wisk Aero. Location: Remote, United States. Education: Master Degree. Field: Programmer.

  • Define software verification environment in line with software verification strategy; interact with and guide Integrated Product Team (IPT); review software life cycle artifacts for compliance with standards and plans; create/review tool qualification plans and data; identify common configuration settings for verification tools for host and target testing; collect software coverage data; generate traceability and verification reports; lead and participate in software reviews with certification authorities.
What you will do
  • As part of the Chief Engineer\'s Office, focus on verification and certification aspects for a novel aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market.
  • Collaborate with SW teams; review software life cycle data including DO-178C and DO-331; provide guidance to ensure compliance with software plans and standards.
  • Define requirements, configuration settings, and guide in implementing Hardware-Software Integration Testing, Software-Software Integration Testing, and Low Level Test Environments for software verification.
  • Collaborate on development and verification tools, tool qualification planning in DO-331 objectives; provide guidance and ensure compliance.
  • Author and collaborate on software certification plans (PSAC, SVP) and standards; help build company process assets.
  • Interact with Program teams to align with overall company vision and schedule; mentor SW team members on software verification and certification aspects.
  • Familiar with DO-178C, DO-330, DO-331 certification; FAA certification experience.
What you have done
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, or Electronics discipline.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software verification for safety-critical aircraft systems.
  • Experience with DO-178 B/C, DO-330, DO-331; working with multiple certification authorities (FAA, EASA, TC, etc.); understanding SOI audits.
  • Experience with software verification coverage and analysis tools.
  • Experience with Python scripting.
  • Experience developing, updating and reviewing software plans and standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to learn and guide the team; proven ability to work with geographically dispersed teams.
Desired
  • Software Verification experience in Matlab/Simulink environment.
  • Knowledge of system verification and validation is a plus.

$122,018 - $140,250 a year Compensation and Benefits: In addition to a great work environment, Wisk offers a competitive base salary, annual bonus, long-term incentive, 401K, health benefits, and more. Job Type: Full-time. Pay range: $122,018-$140,250 per year. Starting base salary depends on location and experience.
