Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Senior Software Verification Engineer to plan, develop, and execute verification activities for regulated medical device software and mobile apps. The role requires hands-on testing on physical hardware and virtual interfaces, with automated test development.

The Opportunity The Senior Software Verification Engineer will plan, develop, and execute software verification activities for regulated medical device systems and mobile applications. This individual will perform hands‑on manual testing for software on physical devices or virtual interfaces, while simultaneously building automated tests . The ideal candidate ensures end‑to‑end verification, 100% requirements traceability, and robust test coverage to deliver high‑quality, compliant connected‑health software under rigorous medical device regulations. Because this role requires hands‑on interaction with physical medical device hardware, this is a fully on‑site position.
The base pay for this position is $78,000.00 – $156,000.00 In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
