Job summary

Dark Wolf Solutions in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Software Testing Engineer to support the development and implementation of business-critical software. The successful candidate will design and execute comprehensive test plans, perform automated and manual testing, and collaborate with development teams to ensure quality and security.

You will work with languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, and SQL, and utilize testing tools across cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in software testing.
5+ years in software testing and QA within Agile/Scrum environments.
3+ years with automation and test management tools and methodologies.
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for testing.
Experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and data formats (Parquet/JSON).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop software that meets business needs.
Design and execute test plans, procedures, and scripts to validate software before implementation.
Develop testing scripts using languages such as C++, C#, Go, Java, Python, SQL, NoSQL, or JavaScript.
Perform automated and manual testing to assess functionality and performance.
Conduct white box, black box, and gray box testing.
Detect and report bugs, errors, security issues, and coding inconsistencies.
Assess metrics like user acceptance, scalability, and performance.
Document and maintain test procedures and ensure compliance.
Report findings and communicate improvements to the development team.
Track defects using bug tracking systems and work with teams to resolve them.
Provide actionable feedback on enhancements and refine product requirements based on testing results.
