Job summary

Lila Sciences is hiring for a Verification & Validation Engineer to build end-to-end test automation, including Python scripts, UI flows, and CI/CD integration. You will run Hardware-in-the-Loop tests against real and simulated robotics hardware, and help define V&V plans tying requirements to software-hardware coverage.

You’ll work with platform, simulation, and human-factors engineers to catch failures early, tame nondeterminism, and ensure test reliability as the lab grows.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of software test or QA automation for complex, integrated systems.

Responsibilities

• Automate test suites with Python (pytest) and UI flows (Playwright) integrated in CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform Hardware-in-the-Loop testing across software/hardware interfaces.
• Define test plans and V&V processes mapping requirements to coverage across boundaries.
• Create robust UI test coverage for internal dashboards and orchestration UIs.
• Identify nondeterministic issues and regression risks to keep tests reliable.
