Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to support a federal program. The role focuses on UI testing, backend troubleshooting, test automation, and compliance validation across enterprise apps.

The position is Hybrid in Annapolis Junction, MD or Reston, VA, with responsibilities across test planning, UI and API testing, log analysis, and CI/CD integration. Requires 18+ years of testing experience and TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of software testing or related technical experience.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Experience with UI, functional, regression, and cross-browser testing of web apps.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend log review.
• CI/CD environments and automated testing frameworks are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and regression procedures.
• Perform UI validation, cross-browser testing, accessibility verification.
• Review logs to identify root causes and troubleshoot failures.
• Conduct API testing and SQL-based database validation for data integrity.
• Develop automated UI tests and integrate into GitLab CI/CD.
