Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to support a mission-critical government information system modernization. Hybrid role with security-focused testing across UI, backend, and automation in a federally regulated environment.

You will develop test plans, perform UI/REST API validation, and ensure compliance with TS/SCI clearance requirements. Collaboration with development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams is essential to deliver secure enterprise

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software testing or related fields in regulated environments.
• Experience with functional, integration, and regression testing of web apps.
• Strong UI testing and cross-browser accessibility testing skills.
• Experience tracing defects via backend logs and SQL validation.
• Familiarity with secure federal modernization projects and DevSecOps.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, regression tests, and acceptance tests.
• Perform UI validation, cross-browser testing, and accessibility checks.
• Review logs to identify and troubleshoot defects across layers.
• Execute API testing and database validation using SQL.
• Support system installation, configuration, and environment builds.
• Manage defects and coordinate resolution across teams.
• Validate compliance with federal cybersecurity and accessibility standards.
• Develop and maintain automated UI testing frameworks.
• Integrate test suites into GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Prepare testing documentation, reports, and leadership-ready recommendations.
