Job summary

Vantor Inc. is seeking a Software Tester to support a large-scale big data analytics platform for U.S. Government intelligence.

You will work with software engineers, systems engineers, DevOps, and end users to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of mission-critical applications in an Agile environment. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on testing in complex distributed systems, and willingness to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance; CI Poly may be required.
• Minimum 14 years total professional experience; 5+ years in testing.
• Experience testing web apps, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages.
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, GIS, CS, or related field.
• SCIF presence a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test plans.
• Validate functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability of applications.
• Perform integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects in issue trackers.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and admins to resolve issues.
• Support CI/CD testing and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Verify data integrity across large-scale analytics pipelines.
• Contribute to test automation frameworks and quality initiatives.
• Rigorously document detailed test processes.
