We seek an experienced Software Test Engineer to support our Government Programs Team at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The role focuses on planning, managing, and executing test activities across platforms including Android, Windows, and Linux, developing test plans and reports, and collaborating with development teams to resolve defects and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• Requires DoD-related experience and security clearance considerations.
• Education options: HS diploma with 20 years' exp OR Bachelor's with 10 years OR Master's with 5 years; lab/debugging experience included.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage assignments, progress, and evaluate results.
• Conduct integration and test activities on Windows, Linux, Android devices, and System Drivers.
• Develop detailed Software Test Plans and prepare Test Reports.
• Participate in software design and development meetings.
• Identify and resolve system-level integration issues in a team environment.
• Coordinate with development teams to troubleshoot defects and requirements.
• Test software builds and report functional/interface issues.
• Ensure tests reflect military tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Prepare test result summaries for leadership decisions.
