Alliance of Professionals & Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer for a 3-month on-site contract in Raleigh, NC.

You will validate data warehouse ETL processes end-to-end, design test plans, and collaborate with business customers and management to ensure data integrity and performance. Qualifications

• Experience validating end-to-end workflows and data integrity across multiple systems.
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP, AWS/cloud platforms integrations.
• Experience in regulated environments such as medical devices or healthcare preferred.
• Not a pure automation testing role; ramp up quickly with minimal onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Perform data warehouse tasks from requirements gathering to testing, implementation, and support.
• Provide solutions for performance improvements with strong stakeholder communication.
• Design and develop ETL methodologies and perform change and impact analysis.
• Deliver solutions based on functional requirements and create program specs.
• Design complex queries, stored procedures, tables, views, and functions; create shell scripts as needed.
• Profile, validate, transform and cleanse data for ETL to a target warehouse.
• Validate end-to-end workflows; support performance tuning and development of key code modules.
• Develop DevOps specifications and processes per client requirements.

Senior Software Test Engineer

Type of Engagement: 3-month contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)

Work Location: Onsite position in Raleigh, NC

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Performing data warehouse tasks for large projects (from gathering requirements to testing, implementation, and support)
• Providing solutions for improved performance with exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to communicate to various levels of business customer and management.
• Responsible for making recommendations on custom applications, designing, and developing efficient ETL methodologies as well as engaging in change and impact analysis
• Deliver solutions based on functional requirements and develop program specifications
• Design and develop complex queries, stored procedures, tables, views, and functions as well as create shell scripts as per requirements.
• Profiling, validating, conditioning, transforming and cleansing of data by applying business rules and transformations for data extraction and loading (ETL) from various sources to a target data warehouse.
• Perform unit testing system testing in support of performance tuning and optimization for the custom development of key code modules
• Develop DevOps specifications and processes based on the client’s requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Candidates must currently reside in the Raleigh area or be willing to permanently relocate to Raleigh for the duration of the engagement.
• This is a hands‑on individual contributor role.
• Candidates must be comfortable independently planning, executing, documenting, and reporting validation activities.
• Due to the aggressive project timeline, only candidates with demonstrated experience in similar validation roles will be considered.
• Candidates must have proven experience validating end‑to‑end workflows, business processes, and data integrity across multiple integrated systems.
• Experience working with integrations involving Salesforce, SAP, AWS/cloud platforms, enterprise applications, customer portals, and connected software ecosystems is strongly preferred.
• Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in regulated environments, particularly medical devices, healthcare, or other quality‑driven industries.
• This is not a pure automation testing role.
• Candidates must have hands‑on experience validating business processes, workflows, and data flow across enterprise and user‑facing applications.
• Candidates should have direct experience creating and maintaining validation documentation, including: Validation Plans Test Protocols Test Reports Requirements Traceability Matrices Defect Documentation Validation Evidence Packages
• Candidates must be able to ramp up quickly with minimal onboarding and begin contributing immediately.

Salary

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $70.00 - $75.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
