The Opportunity

Our Diabetes division in Alameda, CA (or Milpitas, CA, or Beaverton, OR) has an opportunity for a Senior Software Test Engineer.

What You'll Do

• Complete software testing activities for user stories within the Agile SDLC process.
• Review system specifications, requirements, create and execute verification test cases.
• Create verification and validation test plans, reports, trace matrices; review with stakeholders.
• Ensure test coverage, review code diff analysis, develop regression strategies.
• Perform exploratory and system-level testing, develop datasets, automate scripts.
• Investigate bugs, verify fixes.
• Mentor junior team members, review work for quality, and provide process feedback.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
• Strong technical skills and experience testing mobile applications.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a regulated industry.
• Medical device experience preferred.
• Experience in agile development, embedded systems, integration testing, cybersecurity, mobile applications, or cloud computing is a plus.

The base pay for this position ranges from $86,700 to $173,300, depending on location and experience.
