Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking an experienced Software Test Analyst to lead testing efforts across IT initiatives and software enhancements in a hybrid Lansing, MI environment. You will develop test plans, execute functional, regression, and API tests, and ensure quality throughout the SDLC by collaborating with IT, development teams, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of IT QA or software testing experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and hands-on experience

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in IT quality assurance, software testing, or systems analysis.
5+ years of experience developing test cases and scenarios.
5+ years identifying, documenting, and tracking defects.
5+ years experience with defect management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow.
Strong analytical, communication, and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Review requirements to identify gaps and quality risks.
Document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
Build automated test banks and regression test suites.
Perform data validation and reconciliation, including SQL queries.
Test system integrations, APIs, and application workflows.
Support deployment and production validation activities.
Maintain testing documentation and provide status updates.
Recommend process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
