Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Lead Software Systems Integrator to drive end‑to‑end development of high‑performance ground‑to‑space software systems. You will mentor engineering teams, enforce configuration management, and embed security monitoring for mission‑critical operations.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, is onsite at Boulder or Longmont, Colorado, and demands extensive software lifecycle experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 12+ years of experience preferred for SR CAREER level positions.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and/or Java for embedded/high‑performance apps.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, APIs, middleware, and RTOS.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated build/test pipelines.
• Familiarity with Git, Perforce, ClearCase and requirement traceability.
• Experience across the full software lifecycle: design, develop, integrate, test, document.
• Familiar with Agile practices and leading cross‑discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate complex ground‑to‑space solutions.
• Coordinate integration objectives for large ground system products with engineers.
• Support regression testing and change requests with the test team.
• Lead cross‑discipline planning and issue resolution with hardware and firmware teams.
• Define and drive future architecture and integration roadmap.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and conduct system level analysis to catch issues early.
• Embed automated security monitoring and rapid threat remediation.
