Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Software & Systems Engineer SME who serves as the technical authority across domains such as embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, and mission-critical software.

You will drive the full Software Development Life Cycle from requirements through deployment, lead API and integration design, and ensure secure, scalable solutions by collaborating across partner teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience delivering the design and development of software applications.
• Experience in programming from data layer to UI and API development.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Java, SQL, JavaScript, HTML and related technologies.
• Experience with databases and data management technologies such as SQL, DynamoDB, JSON, XML, R.
• Experience with containerization, unit tests, APIs and web services for system integration.
• Ability to lead collaboration across teams in an Agile / Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implement all levels of the solution: data layer, application code, user interface.
• Lead design and deliver APIs and integrations with other software systems and databases.
• Architect for enterprise infrastructure (cloud) usage and security requirements.
