Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12+ years of software engineering experience, or a Master’s with 10+ years, or a Ph.D. with 8+ years.
• Senior software engineer or architect with lead experience on large defense or aerospace programs.
• Strong Systems and Software Engineering fundamentals in a DevSecOps environment.
• Ability to plan goals, define technical roadmaps, and coordinate architecture decisions.
• Experience with engineering standards, configuration management, and reviews.
• Experience with hardware/software integration for complex, mission-critical systems.
• Knowledge of real-time embedded and distributed real-time processing.
• Strong communication across multiple levels.
• Experience with Java, JavaFX, and C++ in Linux; RHEL experience.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments; must have active US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction across multiple software teams.
• Define architecture roadmaps and engineering standards for demanding programs.
• Drive end-to-end solutions for real-time embedded and distributed systems.
• Interface with customers and IPTs to ensure alignment of requirements and delivered capabilities.
