Job summary

Ulteig is seeking a Senior Software Solutions Developer to design, develop, test and implement innovative software solutions across Azure integrations, SQL data workflows, identity automation, and enterprise reporting. You will collaborate with the Business Applications Team and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building integrations between enterprise apps (Dynamics, UKG Pro, MS Project Online, ProjectWise).
• Expert-level familiarity with Visual Studio IDE and Azure DevOps.
• Strong Microsoft tech stack and REST/SOAP API experience.
• Authorized to work permanently in the U.S.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Solutions Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative software solutions to augment and integrate Ulteig’s Enterprise Business Applications. They will work closely with the rest of our Business Applications Team and key internal stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement high-quality software solutions and integrations. This role serves as a technical expert across Azure integration technologies, SQL-based data solutions, identity automation, business applications, and enterprise reporting platforms. The position supports operational continuity, system reliability, and strategic modernization initiatives while partnering with business and technology stakeholders across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Leads efforts to design and implement innovative solutions to meet business needs, inclusive of both system changes and process changes.
• Builds, tests, and supports custom data integration between Ulteig’s various enterprise business applications both in the cloud and on-prem.
• Work with key stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop solutions that meet project objectives.
• Based on developed requirements, architect technical solutions or otherwise to business application related needs for Ulteig.
• Lead problem-solving efforts across the application stack, applying a growth mindset to resolve frontend, backend, API, data, integration, and cloud-related technical challenges while helping team members overcome blockers efficiently.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Identify and troubleshoot software issues in a timely manner.
• Keep up to date with emerging software development trends, showing strong technical agility in learning new technology.
• Evaluate new technologies for potential integration into the company's software solutions.
• Provide insight and recommendations to Business Applications Manager regarding implementation and/or refinement of existing business applications related to technologies and architecture.
• Occasionally own pieces of application administration and support.
• Source and Build relationships with partner vendors as necessary to augment in-house skill set.

What We Expect from You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the professional software development field.
• Prefer experience building integrations between enterprise business applications such as MS Dynamics, UKG Pro, MS Project Online, and ProjectWise
• Expert-level familiarity with Visual Studio IDE and Azure DevOps
• Background in using Microsoft Software and Azure Technologies to support integrations and custom software development, including MS SQL Server, Azure SQL Database infrastructure, Key Vault, Service Bus, App Services, and Logic Apps
• High-level proficiency in the following programming languages & Technologies
• Expertise in REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and other current integration technologies
• Traditional Microsoft stack – MS Windows, Active Directory, MS SQL Server
• Languages: C#, ASP.Net, Microsoft T-SQL, Powershell, XML, Javascript
• Confidently embraces AI-assisted development tools and coding agents as part of modern software engineering workflows to accelerate problem-solving, improve productivity, and strengthen code quality.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $134,300 - $181,800
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job-specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role.
