Requires a Bachelor's in electrical or computer engineering and 5+ years in safety engineering; active Secret clearance preferred. Salary ranges from $110,500 to $214,700 per year; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines with 5+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to understand software and data interfaces to assess potential failure modes that could lead to a hazard.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a multidisciplined team during development of complex systems with critical safety controls.
• Executing system safety and embedded software safety programs analyzing hazards across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
• Developing system safety architectures and overseeing implementation and verification of hazard mitigations at system and subsystem levels.
