Apple Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer in the G&A Solutions Engineering (GSE) group in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will define test strategy, build quality frameworks, and drive automation across mobile, desktop, and cloud platforms.
The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, non-functional testing, and collaboration with developers and stakeholders to ensure release readiness and high quality products.
San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States Software and Services
Are you passionate about software quality, automation, and engineering excellence? If so, we'd like to hear from you. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will drive quality engineering across our software products, building quality frameworks, developing test automation, and creating the tools your team relies on. You'll work across a portfolio of GSE products, covering business functional use-case testing, non-functional quality, negative testing, and performance. We're looking for an experienced, hands-on quality engineer who brings creativity and initiative to the work.
You will define and drive the test approach and test plans for your assigned projects and functional areas - expanding our existing test coverage, engineering quality into how we test, and execute the work. You will own quality outright for your application areas. This role requires someone who can set qualification strategy and carry out both functional and non-functional testing across a complex mobile, desktop, and cloud client/server ecosystem. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a strong technical background and a proven track record. You'll need to own outcomes end-to-end and work cross-functionally to coordinate testing across complex client and server feature sets.
