Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer for its Global Sensors and Mission Systems segment in the ASDS SBU, located in Woburn, MA. You will guide quality activities across the digital product lifecycle and ensure compliance with design and test requirements.

Qualifications

BS in STEM with 5 years software/firmware development experience.
Experience with software/firmware development processes.
Experience conducting quality assessments of software products.
Experience with Agile or DevOps software development.
Ability to obtain interim U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of systems/digital products design and development.
Review and approve inputs/outputs to Software, Systems, and Test work products.
Drive continuous improvements by assessing process and product measures.
Ensure integrity of digital products and the Technical Data Package.
Provide guidance to staff and leadership; may function in software quality leadership.
Lead process improvements and root cause analysis with stakeholders.
