Job summary

North Point Technology seeks a Senior Software Engineer / Quality Assurance Analyst at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. You will develop test plans, perform QA assessments in an Agile setting, define acceptance criteria, and collaborate with the DevSecOps team to ensure thorough testing and documented results.

Required: active TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to obtain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret; advanced degree or extensive experience in software design/QA; DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software design, code development, and release management
• 5+ years in software development and software quality assurance
• 5+ years writing automated QA/QC tests
• 5+ years testing web-based applications
• 5+ years Agile development process
• 5+ years manual and automated testing
• 3+ years with Azure DevOps Server (Source Code Repository)
• DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II certification required
• TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to obtain SI/TK/G/HCS and NATO Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans from product backlog in an agile environment
• Define acceptance criteria for backlog items
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups
• Perform QA assessments of new/modified features, web apps, APIs, and services
• Maintain QA documentation and SOPs
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and customers for testing outcomes
• Incorporate automated testing tools to streamline regression testing
• Use templates for recording test results and reporting
• Maintain a master repository of testing docs
• Produce findings reports from test plans
• Evaluate, test, and validate software development projects
• Establish QA problem reporting processes
• Coordinate testing with SMEs and developers to meet customer requirements
• Test automation software and simulate product performance
• Participate in tests and release readiness reviews
