Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, seeks an experienced software test QA engineer to review and improve regression testing, ensure test quality, and support end-to-end tests of naval submarine software.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering or CS, 5+ years in software testing, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance; familiarity with Zephyr/Jira and CAD/PLM tools like Teamcenter or NX is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• 5+ years of post-graduate experience in software testing/QA or use of PLM/CAD systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the DoD.

Responsibilities

• Review tests, document improvements, and communicate improvements to test authors.
• Understand software test strategies and how tests fit into end-to-end processes at Electric Boat.
• Improve regression test suites and test quality for Digital Enterprise functionality.
