Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing fundamentals.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL querying fundamentals for data validation and test support.

Responsibilities

• Review business, functional, and technical requirements to identify test scope, quality risks, edge cases, and data validation needs.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for new features and defect fixes.
• Perform manual testing for functional, regression, integration, system, and release validation activities.
• Validate application behavior and data outcomes, including verification of CRUD processing where applicable.
• Query databases to confirm expected system behavior and data integrity after changes.
• Document, reproduce, and track software defects; verify fixes and perform retesting.
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and end users to clarify expected behavior and resolve issues.
