Job summary

Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer, focused on Software Quality, to support the Integrated Tank Disposition Contract activities at the Richland, WA site. You will implement and maintain software quality standards and collaborate across QA and business units.

Responsibilities include performing QA surveillances of software documents, reviewing development artifacts, and ensuring compliance with DOE O 414.1E, 10 CFR 830 and NQA-1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or related field.
• Six (6) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Eight (8) years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• QA surveillances of software documentation.
• Review software development documents and verification and validation reports.
• Ensure compliance with DOE O 414.1E, 10 CFR 830, NQA-1, and other contract requirements within H2C SQA.
• Develop, maintain and implement graded approach for software QA activities per DOE O 414.1E.
• Provide leadership for QA and QC support on assigned programs to ensure compliance with requirements.
