Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI‑powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting‑edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

We are building the software operating system used by operators to monitor, command, and coordinate autonomous systems across air, ground and maritime environments. The Lattice platform integrates live sensor feeds, autonomy services, mission planning tools, communication infrastructure, and operational workflows into a unified mission applications. Operators rely on this UI to make decisions in time‑sensitive environments where usability, reliability, security, and mission effectiveness matter.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the end‑to‑end product development and success of a multi‑domain command and control UI platform. This role combines product management, technical program leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and operational strategy. The ideal candidate will operate as a connective layer across engineering, deployment, operators, mission stakeholders, and external partners to help scale the platform into a sustainable, modular, and operationally effective product. You will work closely with software engineering, UX, deployment leads, release management, program managers, operators, and integration partners to drive roadmap alignment, customer coordination, release planning, platform usability, testing readiness, and execution across a highly complex operational environment. This role requires strong product instincts, technical fluency, operational awareness, and the ability to bring structure and coordination to ambiguous, cross‑functional problems.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, priorities, and long‑term strategy for the platform.
  • Help evolve the platform from a customer‑specific environment toward a modular, scalable product architecture.
  • Balance investments across operator workflows, integrations, scalability, analytics, permissions, reliability, and mission capabilities.
  • Translate customer, operator, deployment, and field feedback into actionable product strategy and engineering‑ready requirements.
  • Establish product milestones, KPIs, release priorities, and success metrics aligned to operational outcomes.

Lead Cross-Functional Execution and Coordination

  • Drive coordination and execution across front‑end engineering, back‑end engineering, platform infrastructure, UX, deployment operations, test teams, and program management organizations.
  • Partner closely with deployment leads, program managers, and customer stakeholders to support tasking, integration efforts, operational rollout, and release coordination.
  • Help establish durable release management, testing, and operational readiness processes across the platform lifecycle.
  • Coordinate priorities, dependencies, timelines, and risks across multiple contributing teams and external stakeholders.
  • Identify organizational gaps, unclear ownership boundaries, and operational bottlenecks impacting execution.

Drive Operator-Centered Product Design

  • Partner closely with UXR teams, operators, deployment teams, and mission users to understand users workflows, pain points, and operational needs.
  • Help shape the product experience, workflow design, interaction models, and operational usability of the platform.
  • Work directly with front‑end and back‑end engineering teams to inform product architecture, UI behavior, information hierarchy, and system interactions.
  • Conduct user research and field feedback sessions with operators and stakeholders.
  • Advocate for common workflows and user experiences across multi‑domain operational environments.
  • Ensure roadmap priorities are grounded in real operational workflows and mission outcomes.

Drive Platform Architecture and Security Strategy

  • Partner with engineering teams to define scalable platform architecture and service boundaries.
  • Drive platform capabilities including permissions, identity management, data sharing and observability.
  • Shape deployment strategies across cloud, and edge environments.
  • Lead hardware and software data integrations into environment.
  • Work within regulated environments including FedRAMP, IL4, IL5, NIST 800‑53 and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Balance security, operational usability, and deployment flexibility.

Support Release Management and Operational Readiness

  • Partner with engineering, QA, test, and deployment stakeholders to improve release readiness, acceptance testing, validation processes, and operational rollout planning.
  • Help prioritize testing efforts and coordinate release timelines across multiple teams and customer environments.
  • Support development of structured testing frameworks, acceptance criteria, and release processes to improve platform stability and deployment confidence.
  • Improve visibility into release health, deployment risks, and operational dependencies.

Establish the Product Operating Model

  • Define clear ownership structures, operating rhythms, and cross‑functional coordination mechanisms across participating teams.
  • Improve visibility into roadmap status, dependencies, risks, and execution health.
  • Drive disciplined product development processes across requirements management, prioritization, release planning, and stakeholder communication.
  • Help mature the organization from reactive execution toward a scalable product operating model.

Represent the Product Internally and Externally

  • Serve as a product leader across executive reviews, customer engagements, operational discussions, and roadmap planning.
  • Build strong relationships with operators, engineers, deployment teams, customers, and mission stakeholders.
  • Communicate product strategy, technical tradeoffs, release priorities, and operational risks clearly across both technical and non‑technical audiences.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, systems integration, UX/product design, or related technical leadership roles.
  • Experience building enterprise SaaS, mission software, command and control systems, or operational software platforms.
  • Experience working with cloud‑native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and data platforms.
  • Experience with government cloud environments, FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, RMF, STIGs, or NIST security frameworks.
  • Experience developing software products used in operational or mission‑critical environments.
  • Experience partnering closely with UX and design teams.
  • Experience with AI‑enabled workflows, decision support systems, or autonomy platforms.
  • Experience integrating complex hardware, software and third‑party systems.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience building or supporting command and control systems, common operating pictures, operational platforms, or real‑time mission software.
  • Experience supporting release management, operational rollout, testing coordination, or acceptance validation processes for deployed systems.
  • Background in product design, UX, interaction design, or workflow‑heavy enterprise software environments.
  • Experience supporting intelligence analysis, mission planning, or operational decision‑support workflows within government or defense environments.
  • Familiarity with intelligence analytics platforms, sensor fusion systems, pattern‑of‑life analysis, or operational visualization tools.
  • Experience designing analytical workflows or user experiences that help operators synthesize information and make time‑sensitive decisions.
  • Experience with defense technology, autonomy, robotics, ISR, or multi‑domain operational systems.
  • Experience supporting deployed operational systems or customer‑facing platform products.
  • Background in systems integration, platform architecture, or infrastructure‑heavy software environments.
  • Experience working directly with operators, deployment teams, or mission users in operational environments.
