Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Senior Software Procurement Manager to lead cross-functional teams in selecting high-quality products and suppliers at the best total costs. You will draft, negotiate, and manage complex software contracts, and drive ongoing cost savings and risk mitigation across Spectrum’s procurement programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years procurement contract negotiation and contract management experience with software & licensing agreements.
• 1–3 years electronic procurement and/or contract solutions experience.
• 2 years direct industry or company experience.
• Proven ability to manage and influence all phases of change management.
• Comprehensive understanding of the P2P process.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide volume purchase agreements.
• Demonstrate project management expertise from strategic planning through implementation.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop meaningful supplier requirements.
• Research and develop adequate sources of supply.
• Leverage supply market knowledge for best strategy for Spectrum.
• Lead RFP/RFQ/RFI processes and supplier selection activities.
• Evaluate financial stability of potential suppliers.
• Perform business analysis with a focus on total cost of ownership.
• Provide fact-based recommendations to executive management.
