Job summary

Stellar Solutions, a leading provider of space systems engineering, seeks a Journeyman / Senior Software Lead and Integration Manager to guide a cross-functional U.S. Space Force team.

You will translate physics concepts into robust software, lead hands-on development, and align objectives with mission priorities for USAF and US Navy end users. The role requires 6+ years in technical software leadership, full-stack skills, and ability to work onsite at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience leading or contributing to highly technical software development and integration efforts involving cross-functional teams.
• Experience with RF, electromagnetic spectrum, or space weather concepts.
• Full-stack software development experience.
• Ability to read and program in Python, JavaScript, or C/C++.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of physicists, systems engineers, and software developers in the development and integration of mission-focused software.
• Translate scientific needs into scalable software solutions.
• Design, develop, integrate, and test end-to-end software capabilities for USAF and US Navy end users.
• Coordinate and drive outcomes across science, software, hardware, and systems engineering teams.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering and science personnel.
• Communicate complex scientific and technical concepts to stakeholders.
