Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Programmer to lead a development sprint team for the Department of Justice. You will design, develop, and evolve custom software and SharePoint-based tools supporting 2,200+ endpoints, championing an automated-first approach to streamline the SDLC and deliver secure, high-performing code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, software engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (DOJ Adjudicated).
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing development sprint team for design, development, and maintenance of custom software and SharePoint-based applications.
• Manage the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) converting complex user stories into functional code.
• Establish an automated-first mindset to minimize manual interventions and accelerate deployment.
• Perform rigorous code reviews for mid-level developers to ensure quality and security.
• Provide Tier 2/3 application support for 2,200+ endpoints.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and guide feasibility of solutions.
• Adhere to secure coding practices to protect sensitive government data.
