Kyndryl in the United States seeks a hands-on Senior Software Developer / Technical Lead with an AI focus to guide modernization programs for our clients. You will lead design, coding, testing and architecture decisions while mentoring teams to deliver secure, scalable software.

You'll work with LangGraph, A2A and other AI tools to accelerate delivery, translate business needs into technical plans, and ensure high quality across APIs, data models and CI/CD.

Qualifikationen

• 7 years experience delivering production‑quality applications.
• Lead a team of developers with mentoring, code review, and delivery guidance.
• Set technical direction for software delivery projects, including architecture decisions and risk management.
• Experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go.
• Practical experience using AI‑assisted development tools to support coding, refactoring, testing, documentation, debugging, code comprehension, and architecture exploration.
• Review and validate AI‑generated code for correctness, security, maintainability, performance, and testing.
• Familiarity with agentic development concepts and frameworks like LangGraph, A2A, MCP-enabled tools.
• Strong understanding of APIs, data models, integration patterns, CI/CD, secure coding, observability.
• Ability to translate business needs into executable technical plans.
• Growth mindset and enthusiasm for AI reshaping software development.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team through new application builds and modernization programs, while coding and reviewing as needed.
• Set technical direction for projects, including architecture, integration patterns, modernization strategy, and risk management.
• Use AI‑assisted tools to accelerate code understanding, generation, refactoring, testing, and documentation.
• Architect and build fit‑for‑purpose agents and agentic workflows with LangGraph, A2A, MCP‑enabled tools.
• Guide modernization by analyzing legacy code, identifying logic, defining target architecture, and creating transformation roadmaps.
• Make pragmatic architecture decisions across APIs, data models, cloud services, security, observability, and CI/CD.
• Mentor developers in AI‑assisted practices and secure coding, testing and maintainable design.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into executable technical plans.
• Identify and manage risks in AI‑generated software, including brittle code and security issues.
• Create reusable patterns and playbooks to improve delivery efficiency.
