Job summary

iCapital seeks a Senior Software Integration Engineer - AVP to deliver robust, scalable integration solutions across complex ecosystems. This individual contributor role owns solution quality and applies engineering standards across the integration platform while collaborating with product owners, architects and client teams.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing complex integrations with C#, .NET, REST APIs, XML and JSON, leading technical analysis, and ensuring code quality,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience delivering testable code and supporting operationalization.
• 6+ years of hands-on software development with C#, .NET and ASP.NET MVC.
• Advanced proficiency in C# and .NET including OO programming, asynchronous programming and common .NET practices.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs with authentication, authorization, validation and versioning.
• Strong experience with XML, JSON, Entity Framework, LINQ and SQL.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps including repos, builds, and releases.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills across logs, payloads, databases and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support complex integration solutions using C#, .NET, REST APIs, XML and JSON.
• Translate business requirements into scalable integration designs, APIs, data mappings and configurations.
• Lead technical analysis and solution design for complex integrations across internal and client systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps and client teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, security, performance and reliability through reviews and testing.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues across applications, APIs, databases and deployments.
• Drive reusable integration patterns and monitoring to improve scalability and operations.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Support Agile delivery activities including estimation, sprint planning, release management and CI/CD.
• Identify risks and communicate solutions to stakeholders while balancing customer needs and sustainability.
• Provide occasional off-hours or weekend support for critical production issues.
