Ctrl+ is seeking an experienced Atlassian tooling engineer to design, develop, and maintain integrations across Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo. The role emphasizes configuring Atlassian products for users and resolving integration issues to ensure reliable operations.

You will gather stakeholder requirements, troubleshoot, and test integrations, supporting engineering teams with limited telework and strong on-site presence in Maryland.

Work location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Work arrangement: On-site with limited telework

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph

What you’ll do

• Design, develop and maintain tools and services for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Bamboo
• Configure and customize Atlassian products for users

What you’ll bring

• 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (a Master’s may substitute for 2 years; 5 years of full‑time computer science work may substitute for the degree).
• Linux command-line tools
• Bash, Python or Groovy scripting
• Atlassian configuration and customization
• Integration troubleshooting and testing
• Stakeholder requirements gathering

Preferred qualifications

• Sustaining applications in Unix environments
• Training external customers

Compensation and flexibility

$112.04–$123.71 per hour in approximate pay; employer 401(k) contribution is additional.

Compensation: The listed range reflects approximate hourly pay across our compensation models and excludes Ctrl+’s employer 401(k) contribution. Your hourly pay will vary based on qualifications, experience, and the compensation model you select. The lower end reflects a no-bonus option with five weeks of PTO; the upper end reflects the Max Rate option without bonus or PTO.

Choose from three compensation models: Max Rate, With Bonus, or With Bonus and PTO. Offers include a projected five‑year compensation comparison and a package comparison sheet. PTO and bonuses depend on the selected model and role eligibility.
