Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Windows Developer with Windows desktop development, SQLite, and REST experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining high-quality software features for our cyber intelligence endpoint product. The candidate will also be responsible for working in a team of developers to ensure that project goals are met. Delphi development experience is optional but would be considered a plus.


Role & Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software components on the Windows platform.
  2. Design and implement network communication protocols for our product.
  3. Troubleshoot and debug software issues and provide timely resolution of defects.
  4. Write and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, and other related materials.
  5. Keep up to date with new technologies, tools, and industry trends.
  6. Contribute to code reviews, ensure code quality, and promote best practices for software development.
  7. Participate in the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Skills & Knowledge

  1. At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Windows development at a commercial level.
  2. Strong knowledge of C/C++ and Visual Studio.
  3. Experience developing for both Windows Desktop and Server environments.
  4. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and practices.
  5. Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
  6. In depth knowledge of object-oriented techniques.
  7. Good understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  9. Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  10. A US citizen based in the US.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with developing Windows Services.
  2. Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) techniques such as USB blocking, network blocking, etc.
  3. Experience with data tagging and data classification.
  4. Knowledge of technology trends particularly in the Cyber Security industry.
  5. Prior experience with Delphi programming language and its related libraries and frameworks but not required.
  6. Experience with Windows kernel development (WFP, Mini-filters, etc).
  7. Experience with developing network communication protocols and network programming using both WinHTTP & OpenSSL technologies.
