Job summary

Pinterest is seeking curious, versatile Web Engineers to join our Product Engineering teams. You will deliver user-facing features at scale for Desktop and Mobile Web, collaborating across design, product, and backend to ship end-to-end solutions.

You will apply AI thoughtfully to speed up workflow, maintain high code quality, and mentor teammates while driving innovation across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry Web application development experience.
• Experience writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day workflow.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work (testing, data validation, peer review).
• Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies to understand what should be incorporated.
• Deep understanding of Web development and best practices in React/Redux.

Responsibilities

Requirements

High integrity and ownership: you protect sensitive data, avoid over-reliance on AI, and remain accountable for final decisions and deliverables
5+ years of industry Web application development experience, building consumer or business facing products
Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers
Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow for relevant outputs
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Strong track record of critical evaluation and verification of AI-assisted work (e.g., testing, source-checking, data validation, peer review)
Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies to understand what should be incorporated
Deep understanding of Web development and best practices in React/Redux
