Job summary

Siemens AG is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design and develop high-performance optimization tools for the EDA domain. The role emphasizes scalable software design, integration with data and platform teams, and collaboration with QA and documentation teams.

The candidate will bring deep ASIC/FPGA tooling experience, strong C/C++ and Python skills, and a proven ability to operate in hybrid work settings while traveling domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• MS in EE, CE, CS or related areas.
• 10+ years of experience focused on design, development, and deployment of design optimization algorithms in EDA industry, research, or technological contexts.
• In-depth practical and theoretical expertise in ASIC and FPGA tools.
• Good understanding of Software Engineering principles and practices, and proficiency in setting up and maintaining processes.
• Proficiency with C/C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
• Competitive personality driven to win, ethically, in competitive business situations
• Good communication and inter-personal skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Work can be on site or in hybrid mode.
