What you'll do:
At Jackrabbit Technologies, we're building powerful SaaS solutions to help youth activity centers operate smarter, grow faster, and focus on what matters. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll lead in designing, building, and optimizing mission-critical applications in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Develop scalable, high-quality software using C#, .NET Core, and modern front-end frameworks. Ensure code reliability through robust unit testing and integrate new features into existing legacy systems. Model excellence and inspire peers through your commitment to craftsmanship and clean code.
- Lead complex architectural discussions and provide guidance on maintainable designs, influencing decision-making and aligning cross-functional stakeholders.
- Promote engineering best practices, mentor junior developers, and cultivate a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and shared ownership.
- Drive improvements in performance, usability, security, and maintainability. Champion a long-term technical vision to inspire innovation and high-impact user experiences.
- Translate ambiguity and complexity into clear, actionable solutions. Guide others through uncertainty with confidence and clarity, building momentum toward outcomes.
- Contribute to product development through agile ceremonies, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration. Influence product direction through thoughtful input and strong relationships.
What You Bring:
Core Technical Skills
- 7+ years of experience developing web applications, including architecture design and system migrations
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience
- Expertise with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Web APIs
- Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, Typescript, jQuery)
- Experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures)
- Comfortable in Agile Scrum environments using Jira and Git
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS
- Experience with .NET Core Web API (ApiController)
