Unity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a new team delivering platform support for TV and mobile form factors. You will work on cross‑platform runtime in the browser and Linux cloud, optimizing performance and developer workflows within the Unity Editor.

Strong C++, WebAssembly, and C# skills are essential, with a focus on scalable, portable code. The role emphasizes collaboration across R&D teams, rigorous testing, and innovation.

Formación

• Strong C++ in a large production codebase.
• Modern C++ for performance-critical systems with careful memory, threading and cache reasoning.
• Meaningful WebAssembly experience.
• Emscripten in the browser is the most direct path, but Rust to Wasm counts as well.
• Solid understanding of cross-language runtimes and memory marshaling.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop features and workflows in the Unity Editor for platform configurations.
• Profile and optimize WebGPU/WebAssembly performance, focusing on load times and memory management.
• Investigate and resolve bug reports to maintain a stable platform.
• Enhance quality through automated testing and code reviews; foster teamwork and technical excellence.
