Job summary

Jobtailor in Massachusetts seeks an experienced UI engineer to own significant Qt/QML UI features and clinical workflows. You will shape architectural decisions for UI state, data binding, and real-time data handling, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will work with UX designers to translate designs into responsive production interfaces, guiding features end-to-end from design through integration and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 4+ years relevant experience in UI or software development (or equivalent).
• Strong production experience building UIs in Qt/QML.
• Experience with real-time or data-rich interfaces.
• Strong Python and/or C++ expertise with production software.
• Experience building large, complex software applications or subsystems.
• Experience with Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Requirements

• Strong production experience building application UIs in Qt/QML.
• Experience building real-time or data-rich interfaces.
• Strong understanding of UI architecture: state management, data binding, threading between UI and real-time data.
• Strong Python and/or C++ expertise, with a track record of delivering production software.
• Experience building large, complex software applications or subsystems.
• Experience with Linux, networking, and multi-device or distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience contributing to architecture, design standards, or technical direction within a team or subsystem.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in a regulated or quality-driven environment.
