Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a highly capable software engineer to join our team. The role focuses on processing-intensive analytics, large-scale systems, and AI-related work to support national defense initiatives.

Ideal candidates have extensive software experience, a strong foundation in web and systems programming, and the ability to contribute across architecture and implementation. This on-site position requires Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance and a 1st shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 14 years of software engineering experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems per requirements.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for design adherence and documents results.
• Resolves software problem reports.
• Uses appropriate software development methodologies for the environment.
• Provides input on system design including trade-offs and reuse.
