Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support IC applications on an O&M team. You will work with Agile teams to maintain, enhance, and modernize mission-critical software used across the Intelligence Community.

The role requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph and 6+ years of software development experience. You will contribute to design, development, and deployment while ensuring security and reliability on a on-site, customer-facing environment

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise web applications in production environments.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience designing and developing web applications using Ruby on Rails; ExtJS and/or VueJS; Bootstrap for responsive UI.

Responsibilities

• Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support for mission-critical applications used by Intelligence Community customers.
• Respond to user-reported issues, troubleshoot, and implement timely solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software enhancements and new capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
• Maintain and improve application performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for legacy and new systems.
• Support integrations and data exchange with external systems and services.
• Assist with planning and executing decommissioning of legacy components.
