Job summary

Omni Federal seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join its Geospatial Center of Excellence for NGA initiatives. You will leverage Python for production-grade development and data pipelines, build containerized services with Docker/Kubernetes, and design scalable microservices.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of experience, hands-on CI/CD with GitLab, and Agile leadership. A TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required, with a CS-related degree. Hybrid work in the DC area is common.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Production Python development or large-scale ETL/data pipelines.
• Containerized apps with Docker/Podman on Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Git-based source control and GitLab CI/CD with automated tests and deployment.
• Web services architecture, microservices development.
• Database design including relational, spatial, and NoSQL databases.
• Agile methodologies; Scrum or team lead experience.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
