Job summary

GliaCell Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Laurel, Maryland, to support a U.S. Government contract.

You will work on web-based visualization tools, data visualization techniques, and interactive analysis, using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and related technologies. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 14+ years of experience, and a BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.
• US Citizenship required.
• 14+ years of Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Works well independently as well as on a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Research areas include visualization, UI design, machine learning, and related architectures to advance state of the art.
• Develop web-based visualization solutions in JavaScript to visualize large data from a Knowledge Graph.
• Create visual analysis techniques for user exploration with responsive UX interactions.
• Develop and sustain web-based tools through rapid development cycles with customer feedback.
• Enable the government to identify cutting-edge visualization approaches for data investigation and storytelling.
