Job summary

GliaCell Technologies in Laurel, MD seeks a Principal DevOps / Software Engineer to support a U.S. Government contract.

This on-site role focuses on ensuring availability and reliability of a mission-critical BI platform, while delivering data engineering and analytics capabilities. You will mentor junior engineers, implement SRE practices, containerize products with Docker and Kubernetes, and collaborate with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 12 years experience with BS degree, or 4 additional years in lieu of BS.
• Strong independent and team collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of mission-critical BI platform.
• Develop analytics to process large data sets for insights.
• Design and implement ETL workflows for data normalization.
• Advance site reliability engineering practices in the platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and document work clearly.
