Job summary

MANTECH seeks an experienced Software Engineer for the Ft. Meade, MD area. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems including analytics, real-time processing, and large data manipulation.

Candidates should have 14+ years of SWE experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and strong skills in C/C++, Rust, Linux, RESTful APIs, and containerization with Docker/Kubernetes. TS/SCI with Poly required.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of software development experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline; four additional SWE years may substitute for a degree.
• Experience in C/C++ and Rust.
• Experience containerizing applications with Rancher/Kubernetes/Docker.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience developing RESTful web applications.
• Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and enhances complex software systems (analytics, data processing, real-time systems).
• Reviews and tests software components; documents results and resolves issues.
• Contributes input to software design with trade-offs and reuse considerations.
• Applies appropriate software development methodologies for the environment.
