Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and formal training.
• Proficient in Python, C++, Linux, Grafana.
• Experience in DevOps, SRE, or production support in mission-critical environments.
• Practical understanding of the FIX protocol.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting, log analysis, and diagnostics.
• Ability to collaborate across trading, operations, and engineering teams.
• Automation and CI/CD expertise with secure coding practices.
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted development tools with validation standards.
• Awareness of responsible AI practices in engineering workflows.
• Experience with cloud/AI/ML related software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and troubleshoot software solutions with innovative approaches.
• Provide daily production support for electronic trading platforms, including FIX sessions.
• Monitor Grafana dashboards for latency, errors, throughput, and availability.
• Lead incident triage and restoration during service degradation.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement durable remediation.
• Develop secure production code with Python for health checks and automation.
• Drive adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices with validation standards.
• Leverage SDLC tools and automation to improve value realized by automation.
• Troubleshoot Linux-based systems and network connectivity.
• Collaborate with development teams to investigate complex trading components in C++.
